Especially we europeans sometimes have trouble with translating some wise words from our american friends - sometimes from europeans too (my bad english i.e.). The buzz-words can be a problem (nuff??). Instant information/orientation about places/states, mc-expressions of course. It sure will be better in about ten years or so (Uebung macht den Meister). But short-cuts and technology is there to be used.

I have found a very useful tool by accident. A new software, called Gurunet. When this is running, just keep the cursor on a word, clik on it while holding the alt-key down - and blitz-schnell it is explained (in english). Can be translated too (several languages - not danish though, but i can live with german or swedish). There are other facilities to of course. It's a beta, but works excellent. Freeware.
Try it. See link. It works overall - not just in your browser.

Here the word biker from Gurunet.

bik·er (bī'kər)
n.
One who rides a bicycle or a motorbike.
A motorcyclist, especially a member of a motorcycle gang.

or

petcock

pet·cock (pĕt'kŏk')
n.
A small valve or faucet used to drain or reduce pressure, as from a boiler.

In swedish: liten avrinningskran

The word BTW:

BTW is an acronym for

Back To Work (shorthand used in email)
Belasting Op Toegevoegde Waarde (Dutch for Tax On Added Value)
Between
Brothers of the Third Wheel (trikers organization)
By The Way

Good luck!
(Good fortune or a happy outcome, especially by chance. For example, It was sheer good luck that brought this offer my way, or, as Shakespeare put it in The Merry Wives of Windsor (3:5): “As good luck would have it, comes in one Mistress Page.” [Late 1400s]
Also, good luck to you. I wish you success. This term is used both straightforwardly, as in Good luck on your journey, and sarcastically, implying that what someone is undertaking is not likely to succeed, as in If you think you'll find that long-lost letter, good luck to you.
